”Pearls are precious and one who understands what they are, holds them dearly. Rarity is one thing about a fine pearl that makes it valuable. Another thing is how long it takes for nature to generate such marvel. Why would a person want to give a fine thing away to just about anybody?
The average person wouldn’t understand the value of a pearl, letalone the difficulty to acquire one. They would laugh at the fool who hands something like that to them. They would quickly dismiss worth and install ungratefulness in the place of.
One’s knowledge, wisdom and understanding have about the same worth of a precious pearl; therefore throwing that to the pigs who will do no better than rolling in the mud, shall bring you nothing other than grief and sorrow.
One’s life has only worth to self, one’s words only have impact on the ones who can understand them, thus in the same sentence, one should never hand them to the unworthy.
Riches are inside of the person that knows the value of their time- -time which cannot ever be recovered.”
