“The heart of men lie with the convenient feelings that once were. Excuses for the return of the same. The aches, longing for long-lost connections rise and fall like many great men, for emotions are not always true to self and can sometimes be as deceptive and clever as a beautiful smile facading an evil intent.
A lying heart, that has the potential to lead a man to misery, through a retrocess, a time of beautiful feelings that once existed. A sly persuasion in hopes to have that one person back, one that once meant something. An attempt of a human heart to feel alive again by feeling the same emotions once more. A mixture of complex and deep aspects which are very hard to understand.
One is hurt quite often through the same emotions that once made them soar high. This complexity of humanity is far from being completely understood, so one rather faces disappointment, rejection, sadness, grief, anger, hate… for a chance at love. And eventhough these negative emotions destroy the human in question, one persists in pursuit.
A hopeful, lying heart- -that returns us to memory, to nostalgia and the feelings we once had; in an effort to ever live them again. Logic however, is the precursor to silence, distance, and a mathematic solution.
A lying heart against a sharp mind is no match… …a quick brawl between Logic and Emotion, results in that liars never prosper.”
